A single-storey house with a garage, an open kitchen and living area, and bedrooms. The design covers water supply, sanitary drainage, gas piping, lighting and power.

• Water supply sized to CPC 2022 at 34 fixture units, with water heater relief and expansion requirements.
• Gas piping for a range, a forced-air unit and a fireplace: 193 MBH in total over about 100 ft.
• Sanitary drainage to CPC 2022.
• Lighting and power plans with panels, a transfer switch and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

The gas service enters at the garage and serves a range, a forced-air unit and a fireplace across the house. The main runs at 1 inch for the full 193 MBH and steps down to 1/2 inch for the fireplace, sized from the Schedule 40 table for a run of about 100 ft.
